Make Time For Change
You made the decision, now make time to do it! We鈥檙e all way too busy already, so finding time for something else can be tricky. Stick it on your calendar and pretend it鈥檚 a meeting you can鈥檛 miss. Schedule gym time, even set an alert on your phone to remind you to get off the couch and workout! That way you can鈥檛 give yourself the 鈥淚 just don鈥檛 have enough time鈥 excuse.
Celebrate the Small Stuff
If you try to wait until the end to pat yourself on the back, you鈥檙e not giving yourself enough credit for the little wins that all add up to success. Bring in a Buddy
There鈥檚 a reason it鈥檚 called the buddy system. Having someone working with you to achieve a goal is a great way to stay motivated. You can encourage each other to stay on track or even have a little friendly competition! See who can save the most money each week by bringing lunch to work. If you aren鈥檛 feeling the gym tonight and you know your friend will end up with more steps than you, it might get your moving.
Write it Out
Who doesn鈥檛 love checking things off a list? If you keep track of your progress it鈥檒l hold you accountable and keep what you鈥檙e working towards fresh in your mind.
